Prior to opening her firm, Kristina served as an attorney to the Supreme Court of Ohio for 16 years, where she wrote legal decisions and assisted in creating the Advisory Committee on Mental Illness and the Courts. Nationally, Kristina has served as a Technical Writer for the National Center for State Courts, a non-profit clearinghouse for research to support improvement in judicial administration in state courts.

Regional clients include Capital Partnerships, LLC., based in Washington, D.C. and Columbus, Ohio, where Kristina has done strategic funding research and writing for projects involving community development, neighborhood revitalization, homelessness, health care, information technology, parks, higher education, and non-profit development. Other clients include the Muskingum Valley Park District, the Village of Dresden, Volunteers of America, and Reynoldsburg City School District.
Educational Background
Kristina is a 1992 graduate of Ohio University, Political Science Honors Program, and a 1996 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law. She is a licensed attorney and serves on the Board of Eastside Community Ministry, an ecumenical ministry seeking to help people transform their lives by meeting their basic needs and offering them education, life skills training, and relationship building opportunities.
Proven Leadership
Kristina was elected President of the Ohio Justice Alliance for Community Corrections, a state-wide criminal justice coalition where in 2010 she was awarded the James Wichtman Achievement Award from the Ohio Justice Alliance for Community Corrections for her lifetime dedication to improving community corrections in Ohio.
Kristina served two terms as the President of the Muskingum Area Mental Health & Recovery Services Board, shaping policy, administering funds to public behavioral health agencies, and advocating for behavioral health clients. She also co-chaired a county-wide reading initiative that raised over $20,000, provided over 500 books to the community, and provided 12 free public events.
She has been a Big Sister for over 15 years with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Columbus, and she has served as an Instructor of Political Science at Ohio University-Zanesville and an Instructor of Criminal Justice at Zane State College. Prior to her employment with the Supreme Court of Ohio, Kristina was employed by the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office and the Muskingum County Court of Common Pleas.
